Suitable For: Household Sewing Machines
Condition: Brand New

Organ Home needles (Japanese Brand) has been around since the 1900s are suitable for most sewing machine brands especially Brother, Janome, Juki and Bernette brands. Organ needles are being used for machine testing in these brands' factories and are packed together along as part of the machines' included accessories.

This normal round point needle is suitable for general domestic sewing, sewing suede, corduroy, organdy, batiste, linen, poplin broadcloth and others.

Only suitable for non-stretchable materials like cotton, linen. Not suitable for stretchable materials such as knits and t-shirts( Must use Organ Super Stretch Needles). Using these needles for knits will only damage the clothings and push the stretch fabrics into the needle hole.

Note: the bigger the needle size, the better the penetration strength and bigger the shaft thickness resulting in the bigger holes they made in the fabric.

Size 9 & 11 - Good for thin fabrics like chiffon. However it is not as strong, sharp and heavy  duty like Organ Microtex needles which is slim needle point and sharp. For silk, it is better to use Organ Silk needles so as not to damage the delicate fabrics.

Size 12 & 13 - Good for normal sewing for fabrics like cotton.

Size 14- Good for sewing curtains.

Size 16- Good for sewing jeans. However it is not as strong, sharp and heavy duty like Organ Jeans needles #14&#16. which its slim set point of 130/705H-DE Jean Needles with blue colour shank reduces the penetration resistance and prevents needle and thread breakages.

Size 18- Good for sewing Leather material. However it is not as strong, sharp and heavy duty like Organ Leather needle  with narrow twist cutting point tip makes stable sized needle holes. The reason is when sewing a fiber-crowed fabric, the needle hole tends to be too small.

Useful Tips: Sewing machine needles should be replaced regularly, because worn out needles can cause damages to delicate fabrics. Blunt or bent needles will produce skipped stitches and thread breakages. In extreme cases the usage of worn out needles can result in damages of the stitching plate and surrounding parts.
After use we recommend to put the needles back into the original boxes. This is a good place for keeping them and mismatching with other needles and sizes is excluded.
